Why what You Say becomes a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
--
Stop being a speech terrorist
Is the power of speech a real thing? Can you actually influence your reality according to the words you choose?
“No matter what anybody tells you words and ideas can change the world.” Professor Keating in Dead Poet’s Society
Words do have an impact in the way you feel and, consequently, in the way you behave. Think about it: if you repeatedly hear “You’re so smart! You’re so smart! You’re so smart!”, especially when you’re most susceptible to take those words as the truth (when you’re growing up), you’ll end up intaking that belief and unconsciously behaving accordingly.
So what is it about words, vibration and intention that make them so impactful to the human being? Why does what you repeatedly say to yourself becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy?
1 — You Are Made of Water
The human body is made of 50 to 75% of water. Babies contain higher levels of water (typically from 75 to 78%) dropping to 65% by one year of age.
Vital organs are made of 71 to 84% of water (brain, lungs, heart, liver, kidneys). Even bones are 31% water!
The water contained in the human body serves a variety of purposes:
- Primary building block of cells;
- Regulation of the internal body temperature as it acts as an insulator;
- Metabolising proteins and carbohydrates;
- Insulating the brain, the spinal cord and the organs (acting as a shock absorber);
- Lubricating the joints;
- Flushing waste and toxins from the body;
- Carrying oxygen and nutrients to the cells;
-Dissolving minerals, soluble vitamins and certain nutrients.
That’s no room for doubt that you are mostly made up of water :)
2 — Water has Consciousness
Water has unique properties: its density increases below the freezing point while it decreases above it and it is the only known element that exists in the three forms: solid, liquid and gaseous.(1)
