What’s preventing you from achieving what you want and how to change that?

When you know that you want something and you’re not achieving your goals and dreams, frustration kicks in and it’s easy to be discouraged and drowned into negative thoughts.

Why is it that it’s not that easy to reach what we want? What is preventing us from stepping out and just choosing to live the life of our dreams?

When things don’t seem to go our way there are three main blockages that are consistently making us be a match to what we do not want instead of to what we do want.

First of all we need to understand our mindset and the story we are telling ourselves. We need to ask ourselves: are my inner dialogues serving me? How can I choose and hold my attention on better-feeling thoughts? How can I align with the experiences I wish to live?

These questions will take you a long way for if you consistently come back to them, you’ll take your attention off the monkey-mind and you will be able to sense everything more clearly. That’s the main reason meditation is such a shower of bliss for the soul, because it gives you distance from the thoughts your mind picks up, so instead of identifying with them, you can observe them unattached.
