I had no idea about the first one… I didn’t know that was how the algorithm worked. I thought we could only clap once per person like in all other social media platform…
I don’t agree with your proposal for the second point. We may have people who want to follow us but at some point in their lives may not be fully engaged or we may have people who read our articles who don’t comment or interact. I certainly know I do on my other platforms (and when I occasionally see this people from time to time they actually talk about how what I wrote affected them (even though I had no feedback online from them whatsoever)).
