Gender Gap: why Women allow Men to dominate

Much has been said about men and women, about gender rights and equality. But as we strive for equality are we honouring the inherent diversity of each gender? How can we actually create a cooperative society rather than a competitive one when it comes to gender difference?

Parents and Emotional Awakening

Parents have the leading role when it comes to this subject, for whatever the child experiences at home, the child tends to take further into his/her adult life. Beliefs and behaviours are inherited from families in the course of everyday life throughout years and years of growing up. As we are currently awakening to our emotional needs and understanding that human beings are more than just the physical body that meets the eye, the role that emotions play in people’s health, in people’s behaviour and even in cultural norms is becoming clearer. As this awakening is taking place amongst younger generations such as the millennial, the question we pose is how can parents guide anyone else if they’re not capable of understanding and handling their own emotional state?

If up until today earlier generations have been disconnected from their own emotional guiding system, how can parents assist anyone fulfilling their emotional needs if they’re unable to address their own? In fact, often they have kids…
