7 Steps to Stop Complaining

Why would you reconsider your complaints? Quite simply: how do you feel when you complain?
Even though complaining often seems to be the solution due to the high emphasis we give to action and forcing things to happen, whining only promotes a negative attitude, attracting our focus to negative aspects of what is around us, giving it power and creating inner conflict.
The reason why the inner struggle arises it’s because our Divine Essence is accepting of what is, not holding any grudge or preference towards the physical experience.
Complaining also radiates on into others, after all, when we complain we are verbalising and, therefore, further emphasising, nourishing and spreading an energy of discontentment. We are projecting out into the world that which we focus upon and enhancing an unhappy movement where neither you nor the ones who surround you benefit by this attitude.
Even though at first it may seem like it brings people together — after all there’s nothing like having a common enemy to immediately feel connection with someone — in the long run it depletes people of their vital essence driving them away from each other. Festering with negativity is contagious and it only brings us deeper into the hole.
Complaining doesn’t solve challenges, but being positive enhances your creativity and aligns you with solutions.
When we are uncomfortable in any situation, that sensation has a purpose, the purpose of alerting our attention inwards and understanding that something is out of alignment. When we turn our attention outwards and blame people or circumstances for our misalignment we are only contributing to enhance that discomfort. The idea is to acknowledge the sensation and observe it from a non-judgmental perspective, understanding what it is trying to tell us.
If everything in life was perfect or pleasant we wouldn’t be able to enrich ourselves with the wide scope of states that the physical experience offers.
