Even though we are in the age of entrepreneurship and most of us, at some point, have felt the pressure to start something, there are quite a lot of advantages to working for someone else.
We, humans, have this tendency to focus on what we don’t have instead of focusing on what we do have. Instead of pointing out how incredible it is to have your own business and all the benefits that may come from that, today let’s place our attention on all the good that comes from being an employee.

If, like me, you have considered starting your own business, you know what I’m talking about: the ease that comes from having taxes and legal stuff handled for you is priceless. You don’t have to think about it, nor pay anyone to think about it for you. And that feels great!
In some countries, like Portugal, the employee only sees his/her pay receipt after all the taxes paid by the company have been handled. So, the person only actually sees what is received.
